Our world is in desperate need of men who will follow hard after God.

The Men Of Promise of Church of the Crossroads are committed to helping build strong families through a closer walk with Jesus Christ by equipping and edifying each other to do the work of the ministry, by developing the leadership roles that God has blessed us with and by exercising personal accountability within the local Body of Christ.

Every man gets up in the morning hoping to have a successful day; however, many, if not most of our cultural problems–divorce, abortion, juvenile crime, fatherlessness–can be traced back to the failure of a man.

• We, the Men of Church of the Crossroads have decided to do something about this. These are some of the reasons we have decided to take a stand as the Men Of Promise. God has called us to make a difference in our families, community and in our church.

• Every Wednesday we have and will continue to meet in Portable B behind the Crossroads sanctuary to learn what God’s plan is for each and every one of us.

• Mark your calendars and get involve in the events that we are planning to have this year to reach out to all men in our community.

• If you want to fly like an eagle, you need to hang around with the eagles. God’s word says, “iron sharpens iron”, (Proverbs 27:17). We need you so we can “sharpen” each other. We are doing this every Wednesday, come and join us.

Those of you that have not been able to attend, we’ve missed you, please let us know what we can do to help you (call or email). We need you. Islands are a perfect target for the enemy, please do not be one.

Thank to all of you who are bringing your friends and or relatives, keep it up, you are doing a great job!

Look around where you are sitting this Sunday and if those guys around you are not coming to the meetings, invite them or bring them along. Also, we will be serving food from 7 to 7:30 PM come early so you can enjoy the fellowship and build relationships.

Thanks

A. Martinez
