No Matter What

It shouldn’t take a serious situation to make us stop running around

and discover what’s really important, but sometimes it does. Sometimes

a catastrophe can be a blessing in disguise. Serious situations tend

to isolate many of us, become bitter and afraid or even try to deny

that anything serious is wrong.

Can we look into what God has to say about situations like this? In

Romans 8:28 (TLB) it says, ” And we know that all that happens to us

is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his

plans.” WOW, you mean God can use this serious situation for my

benefit?    YES!!!!!!!

Now let’s notice these four observations that can help us look at

situations in a different way that can help us have a better way of

1. Good health is often taken for granted; however, it is the most

precious commodity one possesses.

2. One’s spouse, children, family, and friends are the essential

ingredient that allow one to endure an experience such a serious

3. When faced with a serious situation or even death, one realizes the

importance of God and one’s relationship to God.

4. The things one does throughout life that seem so urgent are, most

of the time, not so important.

Now let’s see what happens along the way. In Psalm 23:1,4 (TLB)

“Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need!….Even

when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid,

for you are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way.” YES,

How about you and I begin today by considering what we value most and

hold dearest in life? We may be surprised how our priorities

change–and how much richer our life becomes.
